Marketing

Bryant University’s Marketing Department offers a comprehensive program that combines theory with hands-on experience, focusing on areas such as consumer insights, global marketing, and digital strategy. 

About This Department

Bryant’s Marketing Department includes a diverse curriculum, with courses in promotions, marketing research, marketing analytics, professional selling and sales management, global marketing, services marketing, digital marketing, and consumer behavior. Our students build communication and critical thinking skills through presentations, business plan development, team projects, and the creative application of technology. We are known for challenging our students to demonstrate their abilities through practical field experiences and competitions that require them to solve real-world problems. With access to high-tech labs and industry-aligned courses, our students gain the skills needed for various marketing careers in a rapidly evolving field.

Within the International Business program, marketing is one of the functional areas students may choose as a concentration. Our faculty members also support the Global Supply Chain Management program in addition to the Marketing Department. 

Clubs and Organizations

We sponsor events and support a variety of clubs and organizations that offer opportunities to expand upon concepts and ideas developed in the classroom. For example:

  • Bryant Marketing Association is our collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association, which offers students an opportunity to learn more about the field of marketing and practice their marketing skills. The organization achieves these goals by bringing in marketing executives to speak to members, participating in a variety of charitable activities, and sponsoring the Marketing Night at Bryant.
     
  • DECA is a national organization for college students preparing for a variety of career areas, with specific emphasis on the areas of marketing, management, merchandising, and entrepreneurship. DECA provides leadership and career-oriented opportunities to develop and enhance tomorrow’s leaders.

Our Faculty

Our faculty are award-winning educators, researchers, and mentors with expertise in various industries and marketing functions. They bring their real-world experience in digital, retail, automotive, and technology marketing into the classroom to create effective and enhanced learning experiences. Their office doors are always open as they invite students to share their questions and ideas.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

Students engage in real-world learning experiences in the classroom, in student organizations, in academic competitions solving business problems, and through conducting original consumer/marketing research.
