Enhance your ability to solve more complex quantitative problems using real-world examples.
In a data-driven economy, there’s a growing need for analytical skills and statistical knowledge across a wide range of careers. By pursuing a minor or concentration in Applied Statistics, you can deepen your understanding of statistics and learn how to solve complex quantitative problems. Apply your new expertise to your major or an area of interest and gain real-world experience solving problems in a specialized field.
As part of this program, you have the option to complete four SAS-based statistics courses and earn your SAS Certificate in data mining. This specialization allows you to solve real-world problems by applying mathematical principles and develop computer skills for business applications. Bryant is one of only seven undergraduate universities worldwide to offer this prestigious professional designation. Applied Statistics minors only need one additional course to complete the SAS certification requirements.
