Program Highlights

Through Bryant’s Pre-Medical and Health Professions advisory program, you’ll work closely with a pre-health advisor who can help you with course selection and schedules, find the right experiential learning opportunities, and guide you through the application process for medical school or other graduate programs in healthcare or the health sciences. Your pre-health advisor will also help you select the best major based on your future goals. Common examples include Biology (pre-health track) for medical or dental school, Exercise and Movement Science (healthcare provider prep track) for physical therapy, and Health Sciences for a variety of other healthcare careers.

Our personalized, high-quality mentorship leads to many Bryant students going to top graduate and pre-professional schools. Through the advisory program, you will:

  • Participate in Bryant’s healthcare mentor match program and connect with faculty who have expertise in the industry areas that most interest you.

  • Receive one-on-one mentoring and guidance from your pre-health advisor to design your academic path to meet your career goals.

  • Engage in hands-on learning opportunities, such as research, fellowships, internships, and clinical experience, to set you apart as you apply to graduate school.

  • Receive access to high-tech laboratory equipment, including a scanning electron microscope, rotary microtome, fully equipped molecular geochemistry lab, and more, starting your very first year — something that’s usually reserved for graduate students at larger institutions.

Physician Assistant Studies

Bryant’s Physician Assistant Studies program grants guaranteed interviews to Bryant undergraduate students who meet all published minimum criteria for admission. PA programs include competitive and rigorous requirements, but with the support of a pre-health advisor, you’ll be well-positioned with the courses and experience you need to pursue your MSPAS degree. Pending a successful in-person interview and recommendation for admittance by the PA Admissions Committee, two seats per year are reserved for qualified Bryant undergraduates.

Learn by Doing

Lessons from a textbook can only take you so far. That’s why experiential learning is at the core of your Bryant experience. You’ll engage in hands-on projects and opportunities beginning your very first year — building skills in critical thinking, learning how to adapt to challenges, and fostering your determination to succeed.
