Biotechnology has wide-reaching effects on many aspects of life today, whether it’s the development of pest resistant crops, new vaccines, or gene therapies. Through this minor, you’ll learn biology and chemistry fundamentals and explore the technology of manipulating DNA through hands-on lab experience.
Choose two elective courses that highlight the applications of biotechnology and health research, the development of products and services in diverse markets, and the profound legal, social, economic, and ethical implications of this technology for our society.
