Accounting

Bryant University’s Accounting Department offers programs focused on developing expertise in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and managerial accounting — preparing our students for CPA certification and diverse career paths in the field.

About This Department

The way that organizations conduct business — and the organizational roles of accounting and finance professionals — has changed dramatically. To be an effective leader in the current business environment, these professionals must be “business people” first, knowledgeable in a wide range of disciplines, and accomplished communicators.

Our programs are designed to meet the challenges posed by such changes. Through a flexible, relevant program of study, our students are prepared to be leaders and decision-makers in an increasingly complex yet interconnected world.

Our programs also provide the basic background for major professional examinations. In addition, qualified undergraduate students are eligible to take up to two graduate courses during their senior year to get a head start on completing the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program.

Our Faculty

Our esteemed faculty include award-winning educators and mentors who have had successful careers at Big Four and regional accounting firms, major corporations, small businesses, and government.

PwC AI in Accounting Fellowship

Thanks to a $1.5 million investment from PwC, Bryant recently launched the PwC AI in Accounting Fellowship program — an experiential learning initiative that offers undergraduates a unique opportunity to explore the transformative power of AI in accounting. Fellows will work closely with faculty to create personalized learning plans and gain access to a variety of educational resources that will prepare them for the future of the profession.
