Why Bryant?

I chose Bryant because of its welcoming community and the amazing resources to help me succeed in business.

How did you choose digital marketing as a major?

I had the idea that I wanted to study marketing, but it was after taking my first Introduction to Marketing class that I knew it was the right choice. I’ve always been a creative person so being able to get hands-on with the different aspects of digital marketing in my courses has been rewarding.

Any favorite projects?

In Introduction to Marketing, with Professor Ganga Hewage, we participated in a corporate case challenge with Goodwill of New England and competed with other marketing students. It allowed me to explore different marketing ideas, and my group ended up winning the competition for my class!

Have you had any internships?

I had an internship with the Bryant Swim and Dive team, managing their social media and content on different platforms.

Is social media part of your career plan?

Yes, my plan is to focus on the social media marketing side. I’ve enjoyed being creative in my classes and work, and I think it’s something I can do well.

You’re a Student Ambassador. What’s that like?

It’s given me the opportunity to grow tremendously. Being able to interact with families while giving tours has strengthened my public speaking skills and overall confidence.

A question I get a lot is: “What was it about Bryant that stood out from other schools and led you to choose it?” I love to answer that. For me, the college search process was overwhelming. I never thought I’d be able to make such a tough decision. After I toured Bryant, though, I fell in love with the campus and felt at home. I saw myself fitting in and being able to succeed.

What’s your favorite part about the Bryant community?

The endless support I’ve received from the friendships I’ve made, organizations I’ve joined, and the faculty I’ve worked with. I’m fortunate to be part of a community where students push each other to be the best they can be.

How would you describe the Bryant community?

Motivated, vibrant, and ambitious!

Any advice for students considering Bryant?

Have an open mind and don’t be afraid to try new things. Regardless of what college you're going to, being a new student on campus can be intimidating. Bryant provides many different opportunities for you to find yourself and explore different interests. With the number of organizations on campus, there’s a place for everyone.

A Connected Community

Bryant's purposeful student life delivers co-curricular immersion with an inspiring, collegial community. Students forge deep connections that last a lifetime.

“The literary and cultural studies program taught me to approach the world through a critical lens. They are so incredibly empathetic and welcoming. You aren’t just learning the material, but you’re learning their perspective, their experiences, and they’re learning from yours.”

“I didn't think that I could ever learn to program. It just seemed like something that was so far beyond me. But the way my professor taught the class and the availability he had — I visited his office every single week — helped me find my passion for it.”

“I've taken courses ranging from biochemistry to anatomy and physiology to physics, which is a great preparation for medical school. I've had so much support helping me along the way. Everyone at Bryant wants to help students achieve their goals.”
