Dr. Bryan V. Knapp was born in Mons, Belgium and raised in Heidelberg, Germany. He earned a BA with Honors in History at the University of California, Santa Barbara, a Masters in History at Washington University in St. Louis and a PhD in Modern U.S. and Global History at Brown University. He thinks and writes about the Humanity concept, political ecology, and social theory.
