Why did you choose Bryant?

I chose Bryant for swimming, but also because of the number of successful students it produces. Bryant has a vast number of connections and opportunities that allow alumni to succeed.

How did you choose your course of study?

I was originally a biology major looking at the pre-med track. However, when Bryant introduced Healthcare Informatics in fall 2022, it sparked my interest. Having background knowledge in biology and being good at math and eager to learn data science, I decided Healthcare Informatics would be a great fit.

What’s your career goal?

I hope to work in the medical industry helping to optimize hospital efficiency and increase the quality of patient care, indirectly making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Any memorable classes or professors?

My favorite class my first year was Global Foundations of Business with Professor Mark Vozella. He had great humor and made the class applicable to situations within the world today.

What advice would you give to future Bulldogs?

Working in the Academic Center for Excellence as a math tutor, I see students all the time who come in for help with exams and homework — and it always improves their grades.

A Connected Community

Bryant's purposeful student life delivers co-curricular immersion with an inspiring, collegial community. Students forge deep connections that last a lifetime.

“Accounting is like the backbone of business where a lot of different decisions come from a financial aspect. By understanding that and applying it to other roles, you can go into so many different avenues.”

“My specialization is a STEM program, which allows me to extend my work after graduating. This is nice for international students looking to gain work experience in the U.S. Bryant’s focus on STEM programs is really beneficial for international students.”
