Why did you choose Bryant?

Bryant was a stretch for me. I had wanted to go out of state, but my mom brought me on a tour because she had heard about the international business program. I fell in love with it. I don’t let my mom tell me “I told you so” very often, but she does in this case.

I was a little bit worried about staying in state. Am I going to be able to have that independence? But I’ve definitely found it. I’m able to be my own person at Bryant and grow my own identity. I’ve tried different things and been accepted for it. I love what I do and being involved.

How have you made Bryant your own?

I perform with the Bottom Line a cappella group. I was a nationally ranked singer in high school, so it’s been great to continue singing at Bryant. We practice three times a week and did a boot camp in January to get ready for competitions.

I’m also on a women’s issues committee that started this year in student government. I worked with the Office of Residential Life to do a feminine hygiene product drive for a nonprofit called Dignity Matters. I’m very passionate about that.

What’s a highlight of your Bryant experience?

I studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. The beaches and the city were beautiful. I stayed with a host mom, and she was absolutely delightful. I took four classes and had a marketing internship in French, which was a really cool experience. I managed the social media and data analysis for a company that started in the U.S. and moved to France. I loved my boss; she was from Russia, so I got that perspective as well.

How are you preparing for life after Bryant?

I had a marketing internship with RI Novelty my sophomore year. I started their TikTok page, managed their YouTube, and did some data analysis. This summer, I’ll be at Kohl’s as a management trainee. It’s a progressive internship where you work with different departments. I want to get more well-rounded in terms of the different parts of a business, so I’m very excited for that. I feel like Bryant has set me up for success and I’ll be prepared for the real world.

A Connected Community

Bryant's purposeful student life delivers co-curricular immersion with an inspiring, collegial community. Students forge deep connections that last a lifetime.

"I'm studying social media in ways I never would have thought possible. ... I would highly recommend Bryant as a school for both business and the arts."

“I didn't think that I could ever learn to program. It just seemed like something that was so far beyond me. But the way my professor taught the class and the availability he had — I visited his office every single week — helped me find my passion for it.”

"Bryant allows me to explore both paths of education — behavioral science and business — in a more cohesive way."
