Requirements :

Completed Common Application
Essay/personal statement
Academic letter of reference
Secondary school report, also from your guidance counselor. This tells Bryant about your high school, how many students it has, the types of courses they teach, and so on.
Official transcript showing senior courses and most recent grades. Minimum of 16 units must include:
- 4 years of English
- 4 years of math
- 2 years of language
- 2 years of social science
- 2 years of lab science
- 2 years of additional academic discipline (math, language, etc.)
$50 non-refundable application fee. (Application fee waivers are available to candidates with financial hardship. Please discuss your situation with an admission staff member.)
Official SAT or ACT scores, or test-optional essays (learn more about our test-optional policy)

We hope you’ve challenged yourself beyond the minimum requirements by taking honors, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses where available and appropriate.

Incoming first-year students are able to transfer up to 30 credits during their first year. You may earn these credits through:

Advanced Placement (AP)
International Baccalaureate (IB) for IB scores of 5 or higher on higher-level exams.
College-level courses

If you are taking a course for college credit, whether the course is offered on a college campus or in your secondary school, please send a copy of the transcript from the college in order to be considered for credit.

Most part-time students are non-traditional students who are generally focused on work and/or family and who wish to pursue their education on a part-time basis.

Students who wish to earn a Bryant bachelor's degree on a part-time basis may enroll in a maximum of three courses a semester (not to exceed 11 credit hours). You can choose among day and/or evening classes. Summer and winter session courses are also available.

Applicants for part-time admission are required to submit the following:

A completed application with a $50 non-refundable application fee. Application fee waivers are available to candidates with financial hardship. Please discuss your situation with an admission staff member.
Essay (personal statement)
Final, official secondary school transcript or GED.
All official college/university transcripts and a list of courses not included on transcripts that you expect to complete before the proposed date of enrollment (if applicable).

A limited amount of financial aid is available for degree candidates who enroll in two or three courses (at least six credits) a semester. To be considered, Bryant requires the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Your Test Scores :

If you choose, your scores on the SAT or ACT can be submitted as one component of your application to Bryant. The average SAT score for Bryant's Class of 2027 is 1250.

Submitting your test scores, however, is optional.

We seek bright students who are self-directed, passionate about the possibilities that a college education offers, and who want to make a difference in their communities and in the world. The test-optional alternative allows us to consider strengths that may be demonstrated in areas other than your ACT or SAT score.

While the high school transcript remains the most important part of the evaluation, we strongly believe that by offering you the decision about how to best present your academic potential, you are taking ownership of your college education.

The decision to apply test-optional is a personal one. Consider your decision carefully. Once you have submitted your application, you will be unable to change your option. The academic profile of the most recently accepted class may offer some guidance in making your decision.

Financial Aid :

We urge all interested students to apply for financial aid, even if you think you don’t qualify. Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) determines your eligibility for a wide range of aid, from scholarships and grants (which need not be repaid) to work-study and federal loans.

You'll submit your FAFSA along with your application for admission. If accepted to Bryant, you’ll receive your financial aid package with your acceptance letter.

Important FAFSA dates*

Oct. 1, 2024: First date the 2025-26 FAFSA may be submitted to the Department of Education. See www.studentaid.gov.
Nov. 1, 2024: Deadline to file 2025-2026 FAFSA for students seeking January 2025 entrance
Feb. 15, 2025: Deadline to file FAFSA for students seeking September 2025 entrance
March 2025: Notification to incoming freshmen and transfer students begins for September 2025 entrance
March 1, 2025: Deadline for submitting signed copies of parent and student Federal Income Tax Return Transcripts (all pages) if requested by Bryant for September 2025 entrance.
June 2025: First mailing of financial aid notifications to continuing students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Admission Interviews :

Interviews are not required but they do provide a great opportunity for you to ask questions and advocate for yourself. An interview is also a chance for an admission staff member to learn more about you in a one-on-one setting.

Your interview will be conducted by an admission counselor or an Admission Fellow, a select group of our upperclass students. Notes taken during your interview are added to your application for review.

Apply :

You can begin your application process by creating an account for the Common Application. You will be required to create a log-in and password, allowing you to save and add to your application as needed before you are ready to submit it to Bryant.
